The Prestigious Award "Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rashtriya Krishi Vigyan Protshahan Puraskar 2016-17 (Zone - V)" was bagged by Uttar Dinajpur Krishi Vigyan Kendra under Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Chopra, Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal - 733207 on July 16, 2017. The award ceremony was organized at NASC complex, New Delhi where Hon'ble Sri. Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare with other high level dignitaries like DG, DDGs, ADGs of ICAR were present to handover the Award in the Hands of the Senior Scientist and Head of Uttar Dinajpur Krishi Vigyan Kendra. Along with the prize, an amount of ₹ 2,25,000.00 (Rupees two lakh twenty five thousand) only, a certificate and a citation were also handed over to the head of the KVK to inspire all the staff members of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra for more devotion to improve socio-economic status of the farming community of the district.

"National level Mahindra Samridhi Award - 2019" was received by Smt. Anima Majumdar of Dandhugachh village of Chopra Block of Uttar Dinajpur District, W.B. - 733207 in the young farm women category. Smt. Anima Majumdar a progressive farm women working under technical guidance of Uttar Dinajpur Krishi Vigyan Kendra received the award for her significance contribution on "Mushroom Production, Mushroom Spwan Production, and its value addition" on March 08, 2019 which was organized at International Ashoka Hotel, New Delhi where Anand Gopal Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, a Mumbai-based business conglomerate and other high level dignitaries of Mahindra Company were present in the Award Ceremony. The programme was live telecasted at National ZEE News Network Television Channel. Smt. Anima Majumdar received an amount of prize money of ₹ 2.11 lakh from the hands of Sri, Anand Gopal Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, a mometo and a certificate.

Shyam Chandra Lala a progressive farmer working under technical guidance of Uttar Dinajpur Krishi Vigyan Kendra received the award for his significance contribution on "Organic Farming Practices, Application of Resource Conservation Technologies in Agriculture, Pulses and Oil seed production " on March 07, 2018. The award ceremony was organized at New Delhi where Hon'ble Minister of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Govt. of India, Sri. Radha Mohan Singh, Anand Gopal Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, a Mumbai-based business conglomerate and other high level dignitaries of Govt. officials and Mahindra Company were present in the Award Ceremony.
